What's this all about?

Our service focuses on reflecting your life through photography. Photographs are so much more than a record of the way someone looks: they tell a story about how you feel, how you live, and how you love. Our photographs preserve some of the best moments of your life. They give you a gateway to special people and memories, and a beautiful way to relive them over and over again. Our style is anything but traditional. Call it lifestyle, photojournalistic, or candid-we capture life as it comes, with all of the mess, the fun, and the emotions it brings.

Why don't you list wedding photography packages?

We believe in custom packages, because nearly everyone wants something different. Perhaps you want an album, but not a bridal session. Or you're from out of town and can't arrange an engagement shoot with us. We understand all of this, and refuse to push products and services that you have no use for. Instead, we build each package brand new for every couple so that you get exactly what you're looking for. No matter how we build your package, you'll get unlimited coverage from both JD and Jessica, fine art editing, a reception photo booth, and online viewing just as a matter of course. What makes you so special?

We realize that there are a LOT of photographers out there. But we firmly believe that we're among the best you can choose from. If you've seen our work, you know that we have a unique style and high quality that you just can't find anywhere else. JD has studied classic and modern photography at a university level, and we both continue to learn year-round with seminars and technique education, so we possess an overwhelming amount of knowledge about photography. As such, we know that photography is so much more than a business-it's an art, and we treat it accordingly. With this in mind, you can rest assured that we're just as concerned about creating beautiful photos as you are.

Will you be the one shooting on my wedding day?

Snaptacular Photos is not an agency. We're a boutique studio comprised solely of two photographers: JD and Jessica. We cover every single wedding together. We know that a good connection with your photographer is incredibly important, and will never plan to send someone else in our place. Of course, we all know that emergencies arise, and in the extremely odd event that we find ourselves unable to cover your wedding, we have qualified partners that can do the job for you. But know that we'll do everything in our power to make sure that nothing stands between us and your wedding day!

Can you give me a DVD instead of prints?

We offer CDs of web-resolution photos only. That means that you're free (and encouraged) to email, post, and share the web resolution files that we give you online. However, our high resolution files are not for sale. We do this not because we want to force you to buy our prints, but because we know from experience that you'll be woefully disappointed if you don't. When all is said and done, you've paid a premium price for a professional service, and we've put a lot of work into creating beautiful images for you. Wal-Mart is just not going to do your photos justice. Our printer works exclusively with professional photographers, and offers excellent quality that consumer options just can't touch. We even offer discounted print credits built into your package, so the prints we sell are very affordable.

How long will it take to get my photos?

On average, we'll have photos online for you in 4-6 weeks. Once you've chosen your prints, you'll receive them in about a week. Albums take about 6 weeks.
