I am so excited to share our new personal project with you! JD and I are active in the beer community, and we’ve recently taken on a project to help out our favorite nonprofit, Open the Taps. We’re traveling around Texas to photograph several of the brewers in our great state, with the hopes that our images will help beer lovers, legislators, and mildly interested parties better understand who it is that we’re fighting for. We’re making things personal!
This has been an incredible project so far, and we’ve only hit three breweries! We can’t wait to do more, and we’re lining up sessions in Dallas and Houston as we speak! But for now, I’ll share some of my favorites from our sessions with No Label, Ranger Creek, and Freetail!
You may remember our buddies Jennifer and Brian at No Label from their cheesy Christmas sweater session this past winter. We had another fun time with them and got to hang out with their dogs, too! Oh, and Jennifer just happens to be pregnant this time around! Congrats, Jen and Brian!
Next up, we headed out to San Antonio to photograph Ranger Creek Brewing and Distilling. We took…so many photos. We just couldn’t stop! We had a great time with these guys, and I think they just might have the cutest kids in the brewing community. I have way too many to share, but these are my favorites!
We rounded out our San Antonio trip with a session at Freetail Brewing. How convenient, they just happened to be doing a fantastic bottle release that day. Score for us! It was great to meet Scott and the crew and get to spend some time at one of my very favorite brewpubs.
We’ve had such a great experience with this project so far, and we can’t wait to do more! Thank you to No Label, Ranger Creek, and Freetail for your hospitality and willingness to be a part of the fun!
