JD and I absolutely fell in love with Beth, Sam, and their families. Theirs is a wedding that stands out as so completely genuine, family driven, and wonderfully laid back. We found out that we were their only hired vendor-everything else was created by their family and friends. That is just so remarkable to us, not just because we are honored that they chose us to photograph their wedding, but because it is so special to see a couple that is fortunate enough to have such generous and talented family and friends come together to create a beautiful wedding. Read on to see the lovely day that was made by the people who love Beth and Sam!
Beth’s best friend did her makeup.
We did a mini bridal session with Beth before the ceremony started.
One of Beth’s brothers sang a moving acoustic version of Jars of Clay-I Want To Fall In Love With You. I could have listened to him all day!
Let me tell you about this cake. It was made by one of Beth’s brothers and totally cute. Look at the grass! and the Oreo dirt! and the perfect butterflies and pearls! AND it was delicious.
The same brother who made the cake (and the food) is a Starbucks barista, so he made his own version of Frappuccino punch for the wedding, and a special orange cream Frappe just for Sam, which made an appearance in the photobooth.
By the way, the photobooth was just as excellent as ever!
Sam did an excellent photobomb on Beth and her brother.
Beth made the most awesome faces all day. This is one of my favorites!
I love the variety of cans that Beth and Sam had on their getaway car.
And they’re off!
Beth and Sam, we think you and your families are totally awesome. We had a blast working with you two, and we hope you enjoy this peek into your day!
