As 2008 comes to a close, JD and I would like to reflect on a few of the things that made this year so outstanding for us.

First and foremost, we got married. After nearly 4 years of unwedded bliss, JD and I decided it was time to make things official. Almost nothing has changed, but it sure feels good to finally be able to call JD my husband. To show to everyone what we’ve known since we met-that we’ll be together in love for the rest of our lives. Oh, and that little party in April was pretty fun, too!

We went to Ireland. This destination was our choice for our honeymoon, and what a great choice it was. After 25 years on this earth, I FINALLY left North America. JD is a seasoned world traveler, but this is one location that he’s never been to. We both absolutely fell in love with the country and all of the memories we made there together.

Our business has absolutely exploded. Through an excessive amount of determination and talent, JD and I have somehow been able to build a photography business with sticking power. Our clients bring us unending joy, and we are so lucky to be able to meet and work with such inspiring people. I know that we are so very fortunate to be able to work together in a profession that we love, and I am sosososo excited about what the future holds for Snaptacular Photos.

2009 has a tough act to follow, but I know we have even more awesomeness waiting for us just around the corner. We will be purchasing our first home together in the very near future, and we have an incredible lineup of weddings waiting to be photographed. It seems like every year keeps getting better and better, and I just don’t see that stopping any time soon.
